“I am His by purchase and I am His by conquest; I am His by donation and I am His by election; I am His by covenant and I am His by marriage; I am wholly His; I am peculiarly His; I am universally His; I am eternally His.”
What a glorious relationship to be held in. All praise and glory to God. That He would save a wretch such as me with the sacrifice of His Perfect Lamb. He supplied it all. He did it all. He paid it all.
Father, You are awesome in your mercy and grace. All praise and glory belongs to you. Your salvation is more than I could ever merit. While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. That sacrifice, that act of redemption, that show of mercy, has changed my life. I was at the bottom of the ocean, dead in my trespasses. Your salvation has bought me from that death – all for your glory and praise. Father, when we do not praise you and give you the glory, indeed may the rocks and stones cry out your praise! You are worthy. You are worthy. You are worthy. Amen.
