Now I love Rush Limbaugh – listen to him alot, agree with him alot. But I don’t always listen, and I don’t always agree. This, however did NOT sound like something El Rushbo would just put out there! Having listened to him, I find him to be meticulous in his speaking – not only eloquent, but very concise on what he means. So I was pretty sure I could find out whether this was true or not.
As I said in the title, it isn’t. As usual, those who want a thing, manipulate what is said (we call that twisting where I come from) to make it so – at least in their minds, if not in reality.
So, here is what Rush said: Asked by a caller on Tuesday (I am assuming 3/09) what he would do if health care passes, Limbaugh gave this response:
“I don’t know. I’ll just tell you this, if this passes and it’s five years from now and all that stuff gets implemented, I am leaving the country. I’ll go to Costa Rica.”
And here he is saying it: (please forgive the quality – it is an “anti-Rush” production)
