Music we rocked at church today! Let everything that has breath praise the LORD!
Ya’akov [James]1:1-8 (CJB)
1 From: Ya’akov [James], a slave of God and of the Lord Yeshua [Jesus] the Messiah To: The Twelve Tribes in the Diaspora: Shalom!
2 Regard it all as joy, my brothers, when you face various kinds of temptations;
3 for you know that the testing of your trust produces perseverance.
4 But let perseverance do its complete work; so that you may be complete and whole, lacking in nothing.
5 Now if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives to all generously and without reproach; and it will be given to him.
6 But let him ask in trust, doubting nothing; for the doubter is like a wave in the sea being tossed and driven by the wind.
7 Indeed that person should not think that he will receive anything from the Lord,
8 because he is double-minded, unstable in all his ways.
There are many issues facing believers in The United States [as well as around the world] that are not being correctly addressed for one reason, and one reason alone:
We are not asking, in faith, for God-given wisdom in our areas of lacking.
We are at a crossroads in time. A crossroads where the world is closing in on all sides. And we have become afraid – and we have forgotten, if even briefly, where to turn.
It is time to remember our bearings. It is time to remember the promises of our first love – the promises of God to us through His Son.
It is time to ask in faith!
I’m just saying…
Here is the Good Morning America interview with Steven Curtis and Mary Beth Chapman. (aired 8/6) This was their first open, public, conversation regarding the death of their youngest daughter, Maria. Amazing grace, and their faith in God’s promise, is evident in every word. I hope you will take a few moments to watch. (HT:Alpha & Omega Ministries)
